@gidgetgh  I own 4 purses now as I no longer work and do not need all the baggage.  I have kept a couple for summer and the other two are winter wear.

I have three Born crossbody purses, Bone, Black and Coqnac, really nice leather and two I got on sale, one regular price. For me that is just enough.I can adust the strap and use them as longer shoulder purses too. I bought them on HSN.

So hard to find beautiful (vegan) leather bags. Stella McCartney et al ...blah!!! I'm picky! I have one for summer and will reuse my winter one for winter. Have no problem using a canvas tote for a shoulder bag, either. So no I don't have piles of bags stored somewhere. I don't have the storage space! I do have a few evening bags and still use them for holidays parties and weddings. Got rid of all leather years ago.

I totally get where you’re coming from! I’ve gone through phases with bags too, where I’d be obsessed with one and then barely touch it a month later. It helps to take a step back before buying—like, give yourself a week to really think if you still want it. I’ve found that cooling-off period can save me from a lot of impulse buys.

And as for the guessing game, it’s wild how often I’m wrong too! Sometimes I feel like the universe just enjoys keeping us on our toes.

Too many to count and I just brought a Brahmin.  It's small crossbody  or clutch to wear when I go out and don't want to carry a big bag.
