Personally, I would not ever buy a second hand purse. Way too many germs on people's hands and hands are in that bag all the time. Plus , I so frequently have a used kleenex and then if I have no where to throw it away - it ends up back in my purse. However, I also would never buy used clothing either.

How many people have touched the bags sold at retail? A heck of a lot.

Sorry to hear that because I have lots of handbags, clothes and jewerly that I have bought second-hand.
I'm still alive and kicking.
People have to touch everything that we buy even new.
Anyway, a few germs are good for you![]()

One other thing, do you not clean out your handbag when you get home?
Staph is carried in your nose.
I would never put a used kleenex in my handbag. Ewwwww

What do you do with one when you have no where to throw it away ? Say , in church you have sniffles , use a tissue and then you can't just go throw it away.

What makes you think there would be a used kleenex in a used handbag?
The places that I shop make sure their handbags are clean before they sell them.
I guess I just don't understand what is wrong with buying second-hand.

It's getting to be I can't afford any QVC handbags except Vera Bradley. Even the clearance bags are so expensive. Please bring us bags in the $50-$60 range.

Is QVC only trying to sell to the wealthy or gals that charge everything and end up with huge bills because they WANT those expensive bags. I love a good bag but cant afford those prices. You have had other companies in the past that made lovely leather bags for a good price like Maxx New York. Whatever happened to them?
Please buyers look for some other venders. It is getting sooo ridiculous!!!!!!
qvc's goal is to sell stuff to anyone, whether they can afford it or not. The bottom line is to bring in the $$$$$$.

It is an investment and I do not take it lightly or buy often. But all of my bags over $200 and $300. have lasted at least 10 years and some I have had since the 80's. You just have to do the math with the purchase and compare it to a basketful of Target purses at say $30.00 a pop which may only last one year.
