@beach-mom

Sounds like you have some fun charms. It's the simple things in life that makes us smile sometimes.  I'm sure the pansies heart charm will always remind you of your daughter.

I've never heard of Harvey's seatbelt bags, I will look them up and see what I've missed. Always room for one more bag. 🤭😂.

@ladycos Your choice of bag and bag charm look very pretty.

That said, I'm not a huge fan of bag charms in general because they move around and can bump the bag, and possibly fall off.  I have the leather red rose coin holder bag charm from Kate Spade.  That thing fell off my bag and hit the ground a few times, lucky I didn't loose it.  That was enough for me.

@ladycos - So true! I've been "collecting" Harvey's Seatbelt Bags for about 30 years. I bought my first one at a small gift store (long gone). I've always gone for something different, and these are, made entirely from seatbelts. They are virtually indestructible!  Smiley Happy

I am a "Coachie" and I love charms and scarves on bags. I was gifted this very charm on Mother's Day! I love the pink. Looks great on your bag.

@Beach Baby 1

So far it's one of my favorite charms. I would love to see it on your bag,

They just came out with a strawberry charm etc, but I think the cherries are the prettiest.

I like the look of charms, but don't use them.  If a bag comes with them, I remove them.

In the past, they got stuck on my clothing, especially sweaters and pulled them and caused a hole to form.

They rub an ruin the leather of the bag as well.

I suppose if the charm was just a round circle or had smooth curved edges, it would be fine. Anything pointy or with sharp edges is out for me.

I also love bag charms but I don't use them anymore. The jingling just gets on my nerves. But, they are so pretty!

Tend to agree. I usually buy 'nicer' bags and prefer to let them stand on their own and I too often take off whatever tassels or charms come with a bag. I do find some charms appealing but prefer not no to have anything dangling from my bag of clanging, Often, they just get in the way.
