Nice bag @handygal2 .. although I agree that it is ubiquitous.. plus I am not enamored of drawstring/bucket bags.  But it is something to look at.  Do you happen to have the item number?

@Boehm Collector: lt's not a Q item, LOL. Belk has it, and there's 20% off Friends & Family this weekend, and free shipping. (Shhhhh...)

Were I you @handygal2, I'd think very carefully before I did something that would cause you to be fitted for a dunce cap...  Keeping in mind SHE has give you a bit of a pass and that won't last forever...

@Boehm Collector You know, I really love the Dooney Alto line in ivory which I think might qualify as a bone color. @stevieb and I both loved the Evelina, but they don't have the ivory anymore. There are some other Alto's in ivory on I love Dooney though.

This is the Evelina in ivory

Right you are @jaxs mom. This might be the only Dooney line to pass muster... Otherwise, big, big NIX to Dooney... Ladies, let's expand some horizons around here. I mean really, aren't things around Q-ville stale enough...

Oh now THAT is cute @handygal2... I might, possibly, (no guarantees) be able to convince HER to look the other way on that one... And best of all... IT'S NOT A DOONEY...

LOL I have no intentions of buying anymore Dooney's since they basically killed the Flo line. But that Alto Evelina came immediately to mind, because it is ivory and lovely.

I don't like it enough to pay 400 for it.

Oh my, I had no idea... No, I don't like it four hundred dollars worth either... Pretty bag, though.

So I've been wondering, what do you all use those GILI pouches to hold?

[ Edited ]

I suspect we'll be seeing more bone, ivory and white bags as we move into the spring season... While I don't often like a stark white bag throughout winter, I think bone is beautiful in any season. Of course, as we move toward fall, we'll be hearing them call it 'winter white'. Ah marketing. You've got to love it... I guess...

What is the Magic store?

@Bird mama I have a wonderful high-end second-hand store that I buy a lot of my handbags.

Around here, they started calling it the Magic store because of all the great buys on handbags and jewerly.

I also, take things there to sell because it is a consignment shop.

I love to shop at thrift stores, Goodwill and second-stores.

I have tried to get everyone here to look in their area for these types of Magic storesWoman Very Happy

Yes @Bird mama, we're going to send @Sister Golden Hair on a nationwide search of good second hand stores so she can direct us to the best ones in our various areas...

@stevieb@Bird mama: l think we would all have to travel to @Sister Golden Hair's neck of the woods to find prices like that!

@handygal2 Not really because I found great stores in St Louis when we would visit my BIL and SIL.
