@stevieb and everyone: I ordered my first handbag of the New Year...the Isaac bucket bag in coral in Lunchtime Specials!

Gorgeous bag you cutie pie.  You didn't waste any time did ya hahahahaha.  You know I didn't want to waste any time either, but I missed out on the small Smith bag darn it.  I haven't been watching the Q that much and the only color they had left in it was grey.  Oh well, that's my fault for not watching!  Enjoy your new bag.  Happy New Year to you too.

@BlingQueen022 That's right! No time's a wastin' for this handbag hungry girl! LOL! YOU are a cutie for writing and hooting on me...I've already "caught it" from you-know-who -- our friend @stevieb -- so it's good to know that the more things change with each year, some things remain the same. Woman Very Happy

BlingQueen, I was so surprised to see that small Smith bag! Some time back our friend @Serendipity asked us what we thought of the Smith bag, so I thought it was the humongous one. I told her I picked it up at the Dooney outlet and it was too heavy. Then I saw the small Smith bag and realized it wasn't the Big One! Oh well, we missed out, but at the rate that you and I both buy handbags it's probably a very good thing. Woman Wink HAPPY NEW YEAR to you! Heart

@EdithEllenLily I also purchased the huge smith bag from Macys and I ended up returning it due to it's size.  That's a great looking bag.  I'm wondering if it was just made exclusively for QVC.  I can't find it anywhere.  It's not even on the Dooney site.  The only carry the large bag.  They do have it on Ebay.  I may end up getting it there.  Only problem though I never purchased anything on Ebay and not sure of the return policy if you don't like it.  I'm hoping the Q brings this bag back.  I heard Jill say they won't be reordering but they can keep on showing that huge lock n lock bag a zillion times.  That just really makes me mad.  I'll keep an eye out and see if they bring that bag back.  I sure hope they do.  If I do see it again I'll surely let you know about it.

Add me to the list that never knew this bag came in two sizes... though it probably wouldn't be for me anyway. I see they're only showing it in grey Toledo leather at this point.

@steviebHI stevieB  Happy New Year to you.  i saw the grey bag.  I really wanted it in the burgundy color.  Can't spell Beardoux lol  Anyway, Thanks for the information about the return policies on the Bay.  I'm still thinking about getting it there.  I would much rather purchase it from the Q if it ever comes back in stock.  I've always loved the look of that bag.  In a way though I wish it didn't have the tassels on each side of it.  They only get in the way and stick out after a period of time.  Oh well I'll be keeping an eye out for it's return.  You just never know.  If it was that good of a seller the Q should be bringing it back for round two, but then again, it's the Q we're dealing with, lol.

@BlingQueen022 Happiest of New Years to you too, bling. Keep checking out the as is section. With all this 'clearance' they've been having you can bet there's going to be buyer's remorse...

@handygal2 I do love the Coach buckets though. That's the bag, without the grommets, I was coveting a few years ago, in the smaller version. The larger one in person was enormous... It was a winner in almost every color. I will say, though, that for the money, if you can nab a good sale price, Issac's are pretty darn nice too... They aren't Coach, but they're good...

@stevieb  No, that's not it. He's calling the kettle black that's all. Besides, I bought the bags with Christmas money I received from gifts. Sometimes some people don't see what they do and want to point fingers. It's funny because if I were to tell you how much one of his watches cost you would totally understand where I'm coming from.... He just has been away too long and has a very convenient memory. All the damage I've ever done doesn't even come close to his. I just choose to be the bigger person. It's comical really.

Agreed, @stevieb. When l missed the IM lunchtime special a few days ago, l had severe buyer's remorse. I intend to continue to stalk it until it reappears at a good price!

Well then @NycVixen, it seems to me that you then simply have to buy something while on your trip... Just because...

@handygal2 I've probably said it before, but just in case, keep an eye on as is. Quite a few of my IM bags came from there without problems.

They've been clearing that bucket bag out now for a while...  and as I recall, pricing it at several different levels. Hoping some show back up for you ladies.

Oh no! I broke half of a tooth at lunch today! A few days ago I took a drink of cold cranberry juice and made a face and held the side of my face. Mr. Lily asked if I had a toothache and I did, only at that moment. My guess is that it had a crack in it and it finally broke today. It's a tooth with a filling, so I'm not sure if the dentist can do a crown (hope so!). It only hurts with hot and cold, so this weekend I will drink room temperature liquids and chew on the other side of my mouth until Monday when the dentist is open again. Our dentist gives you his phone number for emergencies, but since I do not have constant pain, I'm going to wait until Monday. Sigh, always something! Woman Frustrated

Always... @EdithEllenLily...  What a shame. Good luck with the fix. Crowns are no fun, but if they can save it, that's a good thing. I had this happen a while back and while they did put on a crown, I had to have a root canal first...

Oh man ... @stevieb! I thought of the root canal, too. I'm hoping 'not' because I don't have pain down in there. It's a pretty clean break. I'm going to be very careful this weekend that I don't do more damage. Soft foods and all...and I'm not sure if I should use my mouth guard, which attachs to my 'uppers' and my broken tooth is one of those. Hmmm.

@EdithEllenLily: l hope your tooth situation is remaining status quo today. Isn't it always the case that these problems invariably occur over the weekend?!  :-(

Thanks @handygal2 ... yes, I am the same as yesterday ... I'm eating soft foods and brushing and flossing after each meal ... I have no pain! I am SO HOPING the dentist can just do a crown to fix it up. I'm researching everything today ... teeth with silver fillings that break ... extractions ... bridges ... implants. I want to be prepared when the dentist tells me what he can or cannot do, and I always prepare for the worst in everything. Then if it's anything better, I'm pleasantly surprised. The weekend occurrence is a bummer for sure...Woman Sad

Not to create angst where hopefully there need be none @EdithEllenLily, but mine actually felt better after the break and sometimes they can just put on a crown, but, depending oh the configuration of the tooth and depth of the root, they will sometimes need to do the root canal, as they did with this one of mine... Not to worry. If you've never had one before, I can honestly tell you that while it was nerve wracking, it didn't hurt while he was doing it. It was unpleasant later, which is the gum and not the tooth, but that was alleviated in a few days with regular rinsing with warm salt water, and, of course, meds... Don't know about the mouth guard. I'd likely not use it and especially if it creates pressure on the tooth.

I think I will hold off on the mouth guard @stevieb...if I get a headache from clinching my teeth overnight, so be it! I'd rather have a headache than wreck my tooth even more. I have had two root canals (actually three, if you count two on one tooth from two different endodontists because the first one broke an old file down in my canal and the second one had to get it out using a huge microscope so he could see what he was doing -- and he got it OUT, thank goodness!). I'm hoping my dentist can just do a crown. Yikes all around, though! Woman Surprised

Perhaps we really are related @EdithEllenLily... I clench too and not just at night. Isn't it all just such a joy...

I find myself doing it during the day, too @stevieb! Too much stress and worry...heavy sigh...

I hear you @EdithEllenLily... Where would be without stress and worry... Gosh, I'd like to find out, wouldn't you...?

Woman Surprised

I sure would @stevieb!! Woman Frustrated

I'm usually worrying about my Mom, but now she's worrying about me and my tooth! When she saw the break, she said, "OH MY!" We were over at her place today to help her take down her Christmas decorations and all. She was doing better than me because I am stressed out about the uncertainties regarding this tooth. I hope to find out more tomorrow when the dentist is back in the office.
