After planting my Roberta's gerber daisy order in May of 2019, I watered, and fertilized them and as of this date, 8/8/19, I have a whopping 2 daisies to show for it, really? It was qvc # M59405. I always give good reviews, because most of my products deserve them, but i couldn't help but post this because I have to look at these pitiful things every day!

They have been getting established, for one, and for two, they are "short day" bloomers, meaning they bloom best in days less than 12 hours long.
Mine always cease blooming in the middle of summer, and even at best, they don't have tons of blooms, but what they do is beautiful. I have not bought them from Roberta's.
It appears there are hybrids on the market which are trying to improve the "output", but I can't speak to their performance.

I think Gerber daisies ate one of the hardest plants to successfully grow. I've bought healthy plants, brought them home to my covered, shady patio and have had them drop dead within an hour. They're so pretty but I no longer buy them.

I bought two sets. One of the plants was DOA - the other didn't grow or bloom at all. Robertas replaced them. But still no luck with the second batch. Waste of money - never again. (They only replace once.)

@FranandZoe You can get a refund since the second didn't grow.

Thanks but Robertas said they would only do a one-time replacement.

@Lilysmom. That makes me feel better. If you can't grow the darn things, nobody can.

@Kachina624 I agree about Gerber daisies, I have many flowers but I just don't have any luck growing the Gerber daisies and I've tried for years and finally gave up.

Same here. Got the Roberta's set for neighbor. They are performing poorly. I picked up two plants on sale at a nursery over a month ago. Plants are flourishing, they just don't want to bloom.
