Yard idea?

I'm looking for yard ideas. My backyard is a blank slate. What is the favorite part, or item, in your yard?

I have some areas on the sides for gardening.

I've gotten the weeds much better under control. Grass died, and I live in a dessert area. I really don't want to plant grass, so I'm going for the au natural look.

I have a fire pit that I love.
