Wish They Would Stop Promising

I have purchased a few hydrangeas and two azaleas.  They arrived in good shape but have no buds yet even though this is their flowering time.  Roberta's should stop promising you will get flowers this year and be honest that you may have to wait until next year.  This promise makes one feel disappointed.

Don't they have a 1-800 number to call if you have questions.  Don't know when you got them and if you planted them yet.  Maybe if you call they will help.

I've only received DOA or maybe a life support plants from them except the weeds they sent me as a replacement for the DOA plants . I order a lot of plants online, so I know what condition plants coming my mail SHOULD be in.  I will never order from them again.

I don't understand your problem here .... why haven't you called their Customer Service number to get this sorted out?

Complaining here isn't going to help your situation.

It's called Communication and I appreciate the time and effort you took to let other customers know.  That being said, I think you would find Customer Service helpful.

@Biftu.  You're very optimistic to expect young, immature plants to have blooms as soon as you get them.  These aren't annuals, and this will most likely be their first full growing season, plus it's not even summer yet.

@Tinkrbl44  I think you misunderstood my post, it is not a complaint. There is no problem to warrant a call to customer service.  As I said, my plants arrived in good shape.  All I am saying is that they always say you will get blooms the first year which is not always so.  I get this is a selling point, but they should say you may get blooms this year or the second year.

@Kachina624  I'm foolishly optimistic because they claim you will get blooms this season and I'm saying they should not make this claim. It isn't summer, but the flowering season for these particular plants is spring and I don't even have buds. They are reblooming so maybe I'll see something later in the season.

@ellaphant  Believe it or not I have had very good luck with Roberta's plants.  I also have good luck with plants from local nurseries but they are much more expensive.
