What could be digging up my blubs?

First time posting but I had to ask. Every year I plant a few carpet lily border bulbs and the next morning it seems something has gone through and dug some up or just maybe went down to take a look and investigate. Could someone tell me what this animal could be? We do have deer but I doubt they are doing this. lol
