I bought three succulents the other day, and I'm not sure what two of them are.  I've been told by one person that this is sedum, and another person called it portulacaria (elephant bush).  Can anyone tell me for sure?  I've looked at pictures of both, and it looks more like sedum to me, but I really have no idea.  Any help would be appreciated.

Could it be a jade plant?  That's a succulent.

@ValuSkr  It's not a jade plant.  The owner of the place I bought them from showed me the jade plants.  I just forgot to write down the names of the ones that I bought.  Now I've been trying to look them up and figure it out.  Thanks for the suggestion though.

@Kitlynn  When I Googled pigmyweed it says it's an aquatic plant.  Maybe I will never know for sure.

If you just google pictures of succulent plants you can see it and it looks like your plant but it may not be.

@butterfly123  I just don't think it's a jade plant.  The woman and I were talking about jade plants, and she didn't say that this was one.  If it is I need to find out, though, because when I Googled it I found out that jade plants are poisonous to cats and dogs.  Henry, my cat, gets in that window sometimes.  Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Google "Peperomia obtusifolia or American rubber tree" and choose images.
