The other day I was cleaning the leaves off the back part of the the driveway.  I noticed an old "cloche" I had placed on the ground surrounded by leaves.  I call it a cloche, but in it's previous life I think it was part of a wine cart.  It would be where you put ice to chill the wine.  I don't remember how long ago I had put it there thinking I could use it for something although part of the edge had broken off, so it could no longer be decorative.

I don't remember how long ago I placed it there, but I placed it on bare ground.  I may or may not get to those leaves in any given year.  I have areas that never get leaves removed.  It's just too much.  Anyways, it seems a fern has moved in.  Don't know what kind.  I just thought it was interesting. That's Virginia Creeper in the background, not poison ivy.  It's all over the place, often with poison ivy intermingled.

@Icegoddess That is pretty with the fern inside. The Virginia Creeper always tricks me. I'm afraid it is poison ivy.

@gtx Virginia Creeper has 5 leaves; poison ivy has 3.  Leaves of 3, leave it be.  Although there are things that have 3 leaves that are perfectly fine.
