Saw a Robin today in the back yard! 🪻🌷🪺

Well, that is great, but I am not sure where you live, and some robins have been staying year round in colder climates because of warming the past few years.

 

Unfortunately heavy snow and extreme cold makes it difficult for them to find food. 

 

I actually saw three robins sitting on a sewer grate two weeks ago because warm air was coming out. They often eat the berries from some of my bushes when they are hungry.

 

Birds can be very territorial.

I live in SW Missouri.  Seeing robins used to mean spring is coming.  Now they stay here year-round.  I have no clue what they're eating.  And we're expecting 12-16 inches of snow today, so poor things.  I took this pic a few weeks ago of them drinking out of our heated birdbath (in our flower bed) with snow on the ground.
