Solar Birdbaths & Fountains

Anyone had luck with these? Mine clog (yes I rinse them out) and don't run well. I thought I don't get enough sunlight so gave one to my sister in So Cal & it doesn't work well there either. Beverly from Florida told Sharon they look like $800 birdbaths, I thought they look like plastic resin.
