Yeah, they can grow big in Texas I can't have nothing for them eating all my shrubbery to the ground.
I just buy Yews and junipers they won't eat them. all I can have.

When I moved to Tx thought boy, I can have pretty shrubbery now and not worry too much about freezing weather. I noticed all the neighbors had either no plants or just pine trees, evergreens and boy I was gonna add some color.
Went out spent a fortune on pretty colored, flowering shrubbery in yellows and pinks and purples. Worked myself to death planting, watering, etc.
Within a week all I had was a stub in the ground. thought oh well, I'll buy some more- bad batch. Back to the nursery, more money, more backaches.
Looked pretty for a week, then, same thing ! I was just feeding the rabbit population and finally I figured out what the neighbors already knew.
Get trees that can stand drought and high heat.
Evergreens only
If you want color go to Hobby lobby and buy you some twigs of forsynthia put in patio and look out the door.
don't walk barefooted either. Put in sprinkler system $$$$$$$$
I learned the hard way.

Get a shotgun. Ask board members for rabbit recipes.

@Leggett28 I wouldn't expect lavender to do well in the heat of TX. I can't grow it here in AL either. I have tried both in the ground and in pots.

I thought that was the reason to use a shotgun.
