Why does Cottage Farms and Roberta's have northwest Montana in Zone 5? That is so very wrong. The new USDA Planting Zone Map is correct. No wonder our plants are dead when we receive them! Please Cottage Farms and Roberta's, update your Planting Zone map.. Northwest Montana is the same are the rest of northern Montana, North Dakota, northern Minnesota, Michigan. We are Zone 4 and Zone 3 in the northern most part of the area. We can't plant anything here at least until JUNE 1 as the ground is too cold and our over night low are still in the near or below freezIng temperatures. We can't even turn on outside water til the end of May!
