It is an English rose, and I bought it at Heirloom, so when I get a chance, I will go there along with a list of my roses, and see if I can figure it out.  This one isn't blooming right now, which is why I have to look it up.

Thanks, I'll go over there and look.

I looked and I do not see any lavender or lilac English roses there or at David Austin's American site either.

I'll figure it out.  It just dawned on me that I may have bought this rose from another company which went out of business last Fall, so will let you know.

I am cooking dinner now, because I found a starving cat today, for details, please see Bird's Nest, not Back Fencers and Bird's Nest, so this has been a big distraction, lol, but it is safely tucked away in a spare bathroom until morning, and the good news is, it is drinking and eating, but who knows how long it has been wandering around, it is just skin and bones, shocking.  I have never seen a cat in such horrible condition, and I was in rescue for years.  Off to the Vet tomorrow.

Very pretty!  Only ones I can be trusted with are Knockout roses and I don't really like them....

I want names!! What is the lilac colored one? It looks like Poseidon or Neptune.

Do you have mostly the English roses? Our area just finished the first flush of roses.

I started with English roses in my rose garden, discovered half of the ones I chose get blackspot and started paying attention to what was planted at Extension garden. I now have mostly floribundas and some shrub and grandifloras with a few hybrid teas and 2 miniatures.

I am now focusing on fragrant roses that are disease resistant.

Yes, Jazz, almost entirely English, a few floribundas, and a few grandifloras, I think. I try to get continually blooming roses, the rest are repeaters.   Due to our terrible weather this year, hot, cold, hot, even the disease resistent roses get black spot, but I just pick those leaves off, and all is well.

By lavender, do you mean the first rose I posted?

The rose might be Charles Rennie Macintosh, but eventually, I will find out because the roses will bloom again this year, and when they do, I will get the name.  They are all tagged.

It looks like it is. I googled the name and it looks like he worked with stained glass too.

Yes, it took a while before I actually saw a rose because the page was full of the artwork. Smiley Happy  I will try to post the names of all of the roses when I get organized.

Your roses are just beautiful, Mousiegirl. so terrible is this drought in California. I feel for you and everyone trying to have a nice garden and yard. Just think of the wild animals who cannot find water. Sad.
