I have the hummingbird feeder above my "squirrel-proof" feeder, and these are at first-story eye level right outside my home office window. For the most part, Mustache is only able to, when he's lucky, maneuver the perch and grab a seed or two, but that's about it. There's another little squirrel, whom I named Fatty Arbuckle, who can't maneuver anything. He's just too "fat" for the bird perch, and he's not as smart as Mustache.

But for a couple days now, Mustache has figured out how to get to the hummingbird feeder, and he's been slowly sipping out the nectar! (He's so bad!) I was finally able to raise the hummingbird feeder, where he's slipping and sliding all over the place, not able to get anything. But now it's all the more precarious for me because I have to reach and stretch to where the hook is. I also had to raise my blind, which I can live with. I can still see the hummingbird action.

Here he comes again!!! I'm yelling at him, but he's paying me no mind.
