The flower garden along the breezeway by my garage is always full of lizards lol.  Ruby has made friends with one this summer.  I sincerely believe it enjoys taunting her by playing chase lol.

This baby, I found on an old stone planter yesterday is maybe 2-3 inches long.  It's very tiny, but super cute!  I'm thankful Ruby didn't see this one.  It blended in well with the pot.

It's an Eastern Fence Lizard.. These don't get very big.  The last pic is an older lizard I took few weeks ago.  It's one of Ruby's buddies no doubt lol.😃❤️🦎

I love lizards and have noticed that they will stop and listen when you talk to them gently.

Love lizards. The little Fence Lizard is smart. He has found the perfect camouflage spot and he's hugging it tight.

Ruby with her lizard friends is so funny.  Whenever we're working outside, she goes and hangs out just inside the garage door. This way, she can keep her eyes peeled for any friends that might be running up the wall lol.

You wouldn't believe this, but the lizards will run down just enough to coax her up.  She jumps, but of course never reaches any.  Then, they'll peek around and do this over and over lol.  Ruby tires more easily now, especially out in the heat.  By this time, it's almost as if the lizard is disappointed she's stopped playing.😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️

I thought he/she was a cute little one too!  I was actually surprised I even saw him because he does really blend in with that planter.  It's amazing how everything is born with certain gifts to help them through life, like camouflage.

How cool!  We don't really have many different colored ones here.  Another I always see on my garden wall, I call "blue tails". They're a little different in color and have a long, bright cobalt blue tail.  The kids used to catch these and bring them into my science lab all the time.  My terrariums were always full of different things lol.😃❤️🦎
