Just received a bare root Hydrangea Tree and have a question or two.

It's scheduled to rain here for the next 3 days and the average temperature is going to be close to 50 degrees. Is it a good idea to plant this tree in the ground now, place in a small pot for now, or leave it in the bag the roots are in and mist them?
