Hummingbirds- A question & All tips Welcome!!

I'm finally getting hummingbirds at my feeders, butterfly bush etc. My flower bed is viewable from my kitchen window, just off the patio. It's very handy there to change the nectar. I make my own.

I read to keep the feeders out of sight of each other. Is that true?

DH saw a place that had a hunded feeders & hundreds of hummingbirds at the same time. That was his discription. A place he saw in southern IL while on a Harley ride.
