Home Reflections Outdoor Lanterns, Battery Operated

I bought three of these (H165617) when they were new to QVC in 2010. They are supposed to hold up in rain (they rust), and they are supposed to come on automatically at the same time each day (they don't). We have long winters here, and I brought them inside during that time, so actually I have only used these for six months. Of course, the first 30 days, they worked great....

There are many negative reviews on these. Of course, everyone loved them at first and there were positve reviews for a while.

I am thinking of contacting the Home Reflections company on this cheap product. Has anyone else done so?
