I will be joining others cleaning up a local forest preserve and lake this Saturday. I'm looking forward to it.

I saw pictures from the years past of the garbage pulled from the lake and it was pitiful.

I don't think the Earth is too happy with us at this time given what we persist in doing to it.....maybe today will bring some awareness.

  How many of people who are say they are celebrating the Earth  will drop garbage everywhere . Tons of gargabe left after  large gatherings   . Many parks and along roads and creeks , you can see that people are constatntly  not taking the time to put garbage in garbage cans . 

We need more intelligent people to come up with ways to dispose  of gargabe rather than  countries dumping it in the ocean.
