Estimated date of delivery from Roberta's?

I ordered several plants from Roberta's this year. Since I was going out of town for a week this month just before the plants were due to arrive, I checked with QVC customer support to determine if the estimated DOD in my area for the plants was accurate. I was told it was. So I confidently left town with a return date of Sunday, the 20th of April. I figured that since the "estimated" date was April 23, there might be a couple of days varience on the actual arrival. I also figured that with the miserable winter we've been having, if anything, the deliveries would be later than said date. I didn't expect the plants to start to arrive a full week plus before schedule. I was really upset because some of the plants were sold out and no longer available. I called customer support and got a refund on the first arrivals (sold out), but the other plants kept coming. Fortunatly, I was able to get in touch with my neighbor who graciously agreed to look for the arrivals, unpack them and keep them watered until I got home. I'm really angry that I had to put her to so much trouble, and I'm angry that I couldn't depend on a "reasonable" difference between the actual arrival and the estimated day scheduled for arrival in my area. I can't be the only person inconvenienced in such a way.
