Re: Continuing to break temp records in December

@PA Mom-mom , crazy warm temps!  I am actually looking forward to some snow.  I think the nor'easter coming up the east coast will come to us as rain but our sister Province, New Brunswick, will get snow.  S.

@Lilysmom1.  Its very unusual for us to get this much snow, such cold temps and all so early too.  One of our storms was in October....unheard of.  Farmer's  Almanac said it would be warmer and drier than usual.  It has been dry with no rain since a brief shower in July.

Re: Continuing to break temp records in December

We had so much rain this fall that it was difficult to get the chores done.  I finally got 150 yellow and white daffodil bulbs planted in planter across the front of my house yesterday and today I have a heating pad on my back but it is done!

@DiAnne , you will have quite a show in the Speing.  I planted 100 daffodils, some tulips and some crocus (1 pkg of tulips and 1 pkg of crocus).  I did not plant more as I am rearranging some beds.  S. aka Lilysmom

@Lilysmom1

I stay away from the tulips because it involves a war with the squirrels.  I fill all my empty pots, planters, etc with daffodil bulbs in the winter and then pull them out to put annuals in their place.
