We're having 50mph wind gusts this morning -- hang on to your hat, Hannah!    We had such a warm winter here on the plains that my miniature daffodils started coming up in late January.  Then we had snow and subzero temps and the daffs turned brown.  I gave up on them.

Yesterday I opened my front door and all around my porch is a sea of bright yellow blooms!   The stems might be brown, but those little yellow blooms are gorgeous.   Gives me hope.

@gardenman -- your porch is lovely.  Thanks for the pic.

Hmm...My geranium seeds that I started on 1/26/2021 and which should have taken 12-15 weeks to flower are in bud and will be in flower soon. So they're about a month ahead of schedule. Those new plant lights I bought are somewhat magical. Everything is growing like crazy under them.

Not yet but my daffodils that come out each year around the mailbox are about 5" tall...no flowers yet but will be blooming soon!

I live in the upper south and my Royal Star Magnolia is blooming. Other plants are budding out but this one is in full bloom.  It's one of my favorites.
