We have some large potted geraniums - they are more like bushes than potted plants - about 3 to 4 ft across. We snowbird home to Pa in the summers and a friend waters them for us if it doesn't rain - though they had tons of rain this year. They are large and beautiful but I am thinking they have been in the same soil since we planted them in the summer of 2010 so they should probably be replanted in fresh soil. DH refuses to hear it saying all they need is miracle grow. Can anyone resolve this for us ?In his defense it would be extremely difficult to replant them because they are so large.
