I have shopped with ShopHQ and used value pays. I have had no problems. The first value pay includes shipping on the item and tax. The other value pays are divided evenly among the remainder offered. The only way a problem could occur if you do not have the money in your account or on your credit card to pay.

I've never had a problem with Value Pays. I print out my order confirmation, hand write the dates & amounts of the future Value Pays on the order confirmation & then file it in my ShopHQ charge card folder. I get monthly statements indicating what my Value Pays are for the month. I compare what the statement says to what my account shows & what I've written down. To date, everything has agreed.

I've never had a problem with Value Pay. The first payment is always higher than the remaining VPS because ShopHQ doesn't divide it. It is added in total to the first VP. That said it is not the fault of the retailer if the customer doesn't have enough credit limit left on their card to cover each installment.
