That isn't ShopHQ's fault.

I think what the OP's problem is, she went over her credit limit on her ShopHQ card and is trying to blame ShopHQ. It seems she thought that when she purchased something on valuepay and the charge went through, she thought it was for the entire amount, when in fact it was only for 1 value pay.

She continued to purchase more, her card got up to the limit and then ShopHQ had to charge her the next months valuepays and there was no room so they wanted her to make a payment in an amount large enough to cover her payment amount plus give her enough open credit for her next valuepays.

I use value pay a lot there but have never had anywhere near $200 worth of value pays. I also get an itemized account of my value pays monthly in an email prior to the start of the next month so I can see what is owed.

Seems like a compulsive shopping issue that needs to be addressed and not Shop HQ doing anything wrong. OP seems to be making more value pay purchases than she can afford.

It's not ShopHQ's fault - I agree.

There is nothing wrong with my value pays on my bill. They send me a breakdown value pay email telling me how many payments I have left. I keep track, and there has never been one error. I also pay my monthly bill in Full. No problems for me.

I'm sorry but I don't believe this story. In the past few weeks there have been numerous threads by one post posters with complaints about HSN.

I have been usingShopHQ( value vision, shop NBC...) for 20 some years. Always use value pay. Never had a problem. They even send me a monthly report showing what value pay is due, and what I have left. No questions, no surprises. I wonder why you have such an issue? Are you going over your limit on your card? I pay my balance off every month on my card.

Sounds like someone is playing too close to the fire.

Why would any of the OP's ""points"" be a surprise to her? Isn't this basic consumer math? Anyone who's ever done business with any home shopping company should be familiar with how it works.

I use ValuePay & never had any problems. You pay the amount of the purchase no more no less they don't overcharge you. That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. You must be maxed out on your card to have problems with them being able to charge your monthly payment. If you paid your balance on any credit card each month you would not have the problems you are having.
