84 dolllars for a D&C tunic. I would not pay 30 for it. Good grief!

I thought the same thing, I thought it was a typo. That top is not worth $84, for me. It's just a tee shirt with embroidery on the bottom.

@allaries @Redshoes07 Denim & Co isn't dealing with reality & masquerading as a "designer" brand. Smart customers won't fall for it.

I know, right?!?  They put the word Signature in the name and that apparently gives them license to charge more.  I like a lot of what Denim and Co offers, but not enough to pay $84.00, which they are showing as a sale price.

Just wait a few months and the price will go down.  New items often come in at higher prices.

There are a ton of D & C tops on sale for peanuts on the QVC website--some of them are under the "as-is" category.

I just bought this D & C dress A670412 for $19.00 with free shipping yesterday for next Spring.

@allaries.  I think you forgot to post the item number.

I think it is A670932, and this is the sale price, it is regularly $93.00.

I like it but certainly not for that price!  It would have to be a lot lower.

I've noticed over the past two seasons that the QVC "House Brands" have gotten more and more expensive. I thought the whole theory of cutting out the middle man was to pass the savings on to the customer.

I have no illusions about the price of clothing. But I also know the mark-up is pretty big. A house brand really shouldn't be as expensive as a third party item. JMO

QVC was never a discount brand. The majority of Q pricing is right in line w many mainstream retailers. $90 for a tunic is ridiculous, but their other prices are comprable.

Everything is more expensive.
