I own several Pendleton shirt/ jackets; mine are identical to shackets. One is a reissue of a 1955 Gold miners womens jacket (so hardly a new concept).

How funny. When I searched the dictionary for "shacket", I came up with this:

noun Chiefly Rhode Island.

a yellowjacket or hornet.

Nothing about shirt+jacket. I'd never heard this term until QVC.

OP here! i just posted, because i find some overused words annoying. It was just suppose to be a fun comment. Sorry, if i rocked on your tail. again, in jest.

If i had to watch religious shows or news shows, i would curl up, in a fetal position and pull my shacket, over my head. Again, written in jest.
