I just got a card in the mail for 30% off a regular priced item, Feb. 9-13.

I think the 25% off, 100 bonus points and 3x points is a better deal if you're still thinking about that cardigan.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@gidgetgh  Thank you!  I got that card today in the mail also, and thought to myself, "already the perentage off is falling" but then went through the mental figurations you did and thought todays/tomorrow's (last day) deal is better also.

BUT....then.... I thought, "do I want to pay more to accumulate more points when I'm gonna owe Talbot's points?"   I've returned quite a bit that I repurchased at a lower price so I'm gonna owe them points for certifs. I earned.  So do I want to pay more for an item to accumulate points that are just going to pay of my "point debt" to T's?   My head has been swimming since I got that card today!  What to do... what to do....

@gidgetgh  Well, yeah, but I meant the prices are falling.  There is sure to also be a 40% off one item coupon in the not-too-distant future.  I won't be wearing the charming poppy cardigan yet anyway. That's the thing about the spring stuff here up north - it's unseasonably warm but definitely still winter clothes weather!  It's early to buy the spring stuff when who knows what price it'll be when I"ll actually start wearing spring clothes.

Talbot's makes me crazy, as I've said so many times.

I think it would be different if I'd actually earn a reward from this sale (or close to it) but I won't because I owe points.  That was my "point" LOL!
