I have seen black leggings actually make women look slimmer, if they are paired with the right top and black boots. (Tops must be longer though and cover the hips, butt and part of the thighs, IMHO).

I think the Q's programming was much better today, at least they had Carolyn's closet and some D&B handbags featured.

I'm 62 and love wearing leggings. I bought the brand "Yummie" and they fit so good.

I too, thought leggings or skinny jeans wouldn't look good but I have changed my mind.

I wear flats or boots with them.

Never say neverSmile

I don't own or wear leggings. What used to be reserved for active wear or exercise now has become a daily uniform for some women. I am amazed and sometimes shocked at where women wear leggings. I would feel very uncomfortable going out in public wearing something like that. I know there are different weights and quality of leggings, but regardless of that it still IMO looks like you forgot to wear real pants. I don't care how long the top is covering the bum, I still don't like them. JMO.

But, I did!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup} Sometimes you have to step out of the box.

There are differences in leggings weight which makes a world of difference in whether or not they appear to be pants or tights. Also, nothing matters more than the top and footwear one wears with their leggings-- which is more important to the look than the year you were born. I've seen plenty of silver sisters rocking leggings, and on the other hand seen plenty of teens and 20s walking around as a complete disaster.

Leggings are the biggest fashion crime ever. They are even worse than skinny jeans. I hate it when wear them as pants. People, they are NOT pants, they are legwear. They are fine under skirts or dresses but not as pants. QVC hosts should only wear them with skirts or dresses. They are never appropriate for the office. Just wear a real pair of pants for crying out loud! Is that so difficult? BTW, I'm not talking about bootcut yoga pants. They are great.

I love leggings and wear them as slacks. Ballet and sportswear inspired. I don't wear them to the office.

Leggings are so darn comfortable. Like wearing pajamas. However I've got to tell you, my daughters and their friends are forever discussing older (my age) woman acting the fool with nose piercings, tats, young clothing! They laugh about several friends moms taking selfies all the time on Facebook. It's tough trying to be stylish with teen girls all over the place. Lol

I love tights and leggings but I always order up one size in both because I like them to fit my waist and tummy without pinching or squeezing. My lower thigh, knee area and legs are still shapely and if I layer with a longer under pinning and a tunic over top, it looks fabulous!! I can't wear them skin tight anymore. I wear my ankle or mid height boots and for a 60 old babe, I look pretty good. I found some really great, thin, long sleeved t-shirts at JCP that you can pull low and that stay put for a song the other day. In great colors too. I have seen some wear these things that really made me cringe and I have seen others who look so fantastic too.

I personally did not think that I would like leggings or tights until I accidentally bought my first pair. Long story. However I am amazed in how much I love mine and am looking for others. I am short, have lost lots of weight and have gotten all kinds of compliments even from hubby who never says anything.

I will add that I wear them with long tops and the total look works for me.
