Hard NO from me.

I live in a sub-tropical climate anyway, and no need for leather pants.  The pants pictured look like pleather, not leather and don't appear very flattering.  jmo

75% rayon, 22% nylon, 3% spandex

"The coating gives the twill a subtle sheen and texture mimicking the look of leather without the weight or stiffness."

For women who have  the right body and live in the right climate, sure it's time to wear leather.    I have worn leather jackets in the past, but now that I live my days in southern Florida, I don't anticipate any use for leather.

The national chain stores in the area do stock leather and other fabrics and styles for their customers.

I shop my own closets and dressers this time of the year, first to weed out what I no longer want to wear, but more to create "new" outfits for myself - they cost nothing except time.  My thanks to @McDuff  for inspiring me.

I barely need a sweater In Arizona in winter much less leather or pleather pants. I would sweat to death in these.

Living in a warm climate year round I wouldn't wear them. If I lived in the NE, why not I would try them!

They are a twill fabric with a faux leather coating.  This is much better than 100% plastic faux leather.

I once had a jacket made from this type of material.  It was comfortable and held up well.

I wouldn't and couldn't wear leather pants, so they are not for me. Christian Soriano is a wonderful designer, so I imagine they would be made well.
