I have a denim jumper with a full length zipper down the front. It's knee length, no pockets. It's probably 25 years old. I used to wear it to work with a long sleeve mock neck sweater. Now, I only wear it around the house.
It looks nothing like the one pictured in the National ad.

I hope you like & enjoy wearing your jumper.
There is a woman at my church who wears a denim jumper occasionally with various tops. My sister-in-law owns a few jumpers. She wears hers with short sleeve tees and cute sneakers or sandals in the warmer months.
I used to own a denim jumper. I wore turtlenecks and button down shirts under mine. I liked wearing mine in fall and winter with a belt at the waist and knee high boots.

I haven't seen jumpers, much less denim jumpers in decades. It's probably time for them to reappear.
If you like it, enjoy!

I like Wilma's idea. Cute with belt and boots - oh and sneakers or sandals in the summer with a cute t-shirt. As another posted said - anything can be updated with a few accessories.

Dated is now called retro. Jumpers are always cute.

Brings back memories.......
I loved wearing jumpers. Several of mine were wool herringbone types in navy, black/white, etc.
So easy not having to worry about tucking blouses into skirts that had to fit 'just right' to begin with.
I wish I would have kept a few jumpers, but, looking back, they were wool. Now-a-days they would be washable, tweed or herringbone fabrics.
My Hot Spot keeps turning off......btw.

This is true, to a degree. But it takes a little "flair" to wear retro and make it look retro, especially for, er, older people (and I fall into this category, so I'm not just picking on older people).
