tank under the cardigan chest measurements for a large is 21 inchs and xl 23

Hopefully, a typo.  I'm gonna have to do some serious dieting.

LOL! I was watching just the other night and there was a shirt and the extra small chest measurement was 17 and a half inches the 1X was 23 and a half inches! Lol

LOL    I'm 44in bust , so, guess I'd best start hitting the shredded wheat.

Maybe I can get 2 larges and sew them together

@SharkE  They list the measurement for the back under the armhole seam to seam.  Presumably you'd double it for the approx bust measurement, which would make it about right.

I could understand that if it was the website the way they break down all the measurements but this was what they posted on the TV screen! It's usually the full circumference not shoulder-to-shoulder

@Andreatoo  It's not shoulder to shoulder, it's under the armhole, seam to seam.  They may have done it that way because it looks like the front doubles back to make a lapel so including that would not give an accurate measurement.

It's generally a true garment chest measurement; not what you just stated.
