Obviously you are remembering the wrong 60's
Yes, swimsuits became two pieces. But clothes? Not so much. Have you ever seen 1960's TV shows with this type of outfit? Have you ever seen award ceremonies, such as the academy awards, showing outfits like this? NO!!

The '60s was all about the mini skirt, not a full flared skirt like the one Zendaya is wearing.

NOT the 60's. Just silly looking.

The '60s wasn't about bows either. It was more about women getting away from the femininity of fashion which the bow, in large part, represents that in fashion. The '60s was about edge, geometry and womens' liberation.

I don't care for anything about this look - the hair, the dress or the shoes. Two thumbs down.

I don't like anything that she has been wearing lately.
I don't know if someone is directing her towards a what someone thinks is sexy and kind of out there style-a chamelion changing her hair and look everytime.
Who knows? Maybe it is what she likes and wants. I hope it is and that she is not being pressured into something she doesn't want to be.
But she looks comfortable in what she wears so maybe it is what she wants.
