I just don't get how these people think these boob type tops look good. So many celebs wear these and in my opinion it looks awful. I do not understand the extreme exposure. Real life does not go out like that. I'll take the class of yesteryear anyday. My opinion.

@haddon9 - I agree.  It became painfully obvious recently that Cher hadn't been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

You have to wonder who was making the decisions!  I mean, come on, I love Dolly Parton, but she was inducted before Cher???  Dolly herself tried to refuse the honor and said she hadn't even made a rock & roll record.  So she put out an album afterwards so that she'd deserve it.

How did anyone come to those crazy decisions?

Cher music career revival in the late 1980s saw the releases of rock-inflected albums Cher (1987), Heart of Stone (1989) and Love Hurts (1991), all of which yielded hit singles such as "I Found Someone", "If I Could Turn Back Time" and "Save Up All Your Tears".

Rockstar is the forty-ninth solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton. It was released on November 17, 2023, by Butterfly Records and Big Machine Records. The album is a collaborative project with a variety of rock musicians, marking Parton's first album-length foray into the genre.

No way.  Keep the coat on.  (And I'm surprised that's a Bob Mackie outfit.  Wonder who the actual designer is?)

@Venezia  Bob Mackie is famous for this kind of outfit. And for designing for Cher. He had an amazing career.

Re: Zendaya In Bob Mackie

It's funny to me because I so remember my mother being appalled by Cher's outfit years ago; she honestly couldn’t believe Cher was allowed to wear something like that in public. As a child, I didn’t fully grasp the outrage. Now, seeing Zendaya showcase a modern take on that look, I believe she looks incredible and successfully honors the Cher/Bob Mackie legacy, giving credit to the Cher/Bob Mackie legacy.

@willdob3 - Very true that he designed these kinds of outfits for Cher.

But look at the photos in posts 14 and 25.  In post 14 the model wearing this dress is covered - she doesn't have half her boobs exposed and looking like a wardrobe malfunction is imminent.

Same for the comparison photos in post 25.  A whole world of difference in how the women are dressed.  Zendaya basically has two small strips of fabric across the front of her breasts.  The fabric could've been cut to cover and support her breasts.

They say Zendaya wore this as a "tribute" to Cher.  I don't see how putting your partially-covered "assets" on public display is a tribute.  More a "look at me" publicity grab, IMO.

Agree. Zendaya makes the dress look amazing. She has a fantastic body and just can't look bad in any outfit! Like Cher. A total fashion icon. When you've got it, you throw your cloak off, clap your hands and get on with the show.

Dated.  Yawn.  Day late and a yard of fabric short.  Nothing new, been done far better and worn far better before.

I don't know abut breast augmentation, but she has done work on her nose.  Old pictures of her showing a sort of a pug nose.  It's been become much more narrow over the years.  So if she had anything done it was her nose. Rhino plastic surgery is very minor compared to larger areas on the body.  She's very tall.  Women like that (look at models) are tall, bone thin with small breast. Men too (look at NBA players) very tall and difficult to increase weight.

She is gorgeous, not just beautiful. She's got the best features of  both her parents.  Being 6 feet tall is minor compared to the rest of her.

Watch her in Euphoria. She can make herself look very unattractive. It's hard to believe its the same person.

I think she's probably had her breasts done and they look spectacular.
