I'm attending a wedding soon. I have a couple of dress choices, and am leaning toward a true solid navy blue.

Hurricane Sandy washed all my shoes away, and so far I've only replaced my evening shoes with a black pair of strappy sandals. Can i wear them with navy?

I guess I am old school, but "I" would not! I am not a fan of mixing navy and black, but then that's just me!

i would prefer a navy shoe or a nude shoe or a metallic silver/pewter/gold shoe. i am also not a huge fan of mixing navy and black.

To me, black and white are the supreme neutrals. I think black shoes with navy is just fine.

It depends on the shade of blue. I consider myself old school and always wore blue shoes with blue bottoms but I have a pair of blue Michael Kors pants that I have to wear black shoes with. I think I ordered every pair of blue pumps on Zappos to try to match those pants. I also looked at nude and they didn't work at all. They are a very dark blue so I ended up with black shoes.

So I would say, whatever looks best.
