I see so many people say that full length pants, especially jeans are just too hot to wear in the summer, but to me, skin-tight pants of any length are too hot.  I don't wear crops or shortened pants mainly because I have large calves and I don't want them tight.  But, looking at the pedal pushers, even on the models with very skinny legs, they're tight, like leggings tight.  I don't often wear leggings, but certainly not in the summer except to the gym.  Jennifer Coffey has athletic calves and they looked to be too tight on her too even thought they don't even go down to the calves.  I'm certain my calves are even bigger than hers since I usually have difficulty buying boots.

In my opinion all of her pants are too tight and most models/hosts don't even look like they have any under garments on if you know what I mean. Her line is all about sexy. I wear a slim leg but not skin tight.

Full length, ankle length, crop pants are too hot if you reside in a warm climate as I do in south Florida. It has nothing to do with a garment being close fitting or skin tight. I wear bermudas or capris, preferably denim, 365 days a year. My complaint is that the leg openings are generally too big. I do have some athletic wear capris that I wear at home almost daily that are body hugging. I do not have thin legs or calves, and they look just fine and are not hot in or out of the house. 

Women With Control garment sizing does not conform to my body, so I have never purchased any of these items. I think it all comes down to each person's body temperature/regulation.

  I find her pedal pushers comfortable to wear in New York,in the summer. I love their fit.I don't find them or any of her pants to be to tight at all. 

 We have varying body types & of course have different fit preferences.

I have very muscular calves, and I love her pedal pushers (they hit at just the right spot and capri pants look terrible on my calves).  They aren't tight for me at all.  The fabric is soft and thick enough to be modest while still feeling cool temperature wise.  I like them for Summer time.

I prefer skirts or dress or very lightweight long pants in the hot weather.  Got rid of all my shorts,capris, crops, etc.

I like the WWC pants - but I only wear the long straight or wide leg styles. Great fit for me.

I must be “immune” to hot weather. Even in hot/humid NYC summers, long pants don’t bother me.
