I have bought alot of Renees woman in control over the years and the last year I have been very diappointed in the quality and sizing of her product.  Has anyone else noticed? She was my go to for clothing I needed not any more I had to return the last pants I bought. I noticed she doesnt have air time as much either Smiley Sad

Re: Woman in control quality?

@ROBERTA64    I never bought Renee, so I couldn't speak to her line.  I can say that several brands I've favored at Chico's, Macy's and even Nordstrom aren't what they were a few years ago.

I'm buying as few pieces of clothing as I really need right now, but I do need some because I've changed size and height enough that even some items I bought 2 years ago aren't great fits today.  I'm frustrated by what I see as a lack of staying power in most new items.

Re: Woman in control quality?

I haven't purchased anything since summer when I purchased 3 dresses. They were very nice and fit well. I did see a few items that caught my eye but the price tag of most fashion is out of my budget. I did notice that she hasn't been on air but not sure if that's a scheduling conflict or what.

I recently bought a Renee top in my usual size.  Love the print but the neckline was so wide, it fell off my shoulders and was unwearable.

Re: Woman in control quality?

I bought her pants about 8 years ago and they were great. They are faded now bit I wear them as house clothes.

I tried replacing them and the sizing was off, as well as them being irregular in length. I returned them.

I bought 2 of her dresses one last summer and one this summer and they are great.

Her prints are sometimes too outrageous. One dress is a leopard print and it's not too loud. The other was called brushstrokes and everyone compliments that particular print.

Re: Woman in control quality?

I am a big fan.  But before I buy I always check out the fabric content 86% cotton, 14% spandex and the blue-tec waistband that roped me in.  I only buy the cotton/ spandex bluetec pants, and bluetec waist denim with high cotton content.

She is sneaking in some poly blends and no BlueTec in the traditional WWC pants.  Her new "contour waistband" is not bluetec, and I won't buy.  I only buy the cotton/ spandex bluetec pants.  I also check for up and down seams along the front or back of the leg.  I have bought those by mistake and I don't like them.  As long as I stay away from those, I am a happy customer.  These are my favorite pants, and I am constantly replenishing.

I had a hard time finding the good WWC pants a few months but I have seen her bring in new styles and am all stocked up.  I most recently bought the pants with the cargo style pockets on the legs and the Nina waist and they are as good as usual.

I have found great variation in the fabric that she calls her premium denim.  I like some, but not all.  I only buy the denim with bluetec and am ok with some poly in the denim as long as the cotton content is high.  Some of her denim are among my favorite.

I like the smooth line that I get with the bluetec because, as a short waisted customer, these are the only pants that don't give me a bumpy bunchy line under my tops.  I don't tuck.  As with most pants, being short waisted, the front pant waists go all the way to my bra line, even with petite pants.  I used to fold the front of other pants.

Her Attitudes line is all poly span (think SG Liquid Knit), and I rarely buy.

Re: Woman in control quality?

I don't have an issue with the quality of anything I bought from WWC or Attitudes.  I do like her Como jersey tops, I have quite a few of them.  Her pants are a great fit for me.

My only criticism is some of her styles with the high/low hemlines ....anyone facing you when you are wearing one of those tops can see the wrong side of the fabric hanging in the back.  Renee isn't the only one who does this.
