Hopped on here to tell you how wonderful the Dennis Basso wide leg ponte pants are!  Saw them the other day on air...model Maria was dressed head-to-toe in the wide leg pants, top, and duster.  I only needed the pantWs, but I thought Maria looked amazing.  Simple and elegant.  On a whim I ordered the pants in black to wear to an upcoming NY wedding.  I have sooo many gorgeous fancy tops already in my closet still with tags so I hoped the pants would fit without needing any alterations.  They are perfect.  The wide leg isn't WIIIIDE.  They drape beautifully and happen to be the perfect length for me with my pretty kitten heel slingbacks (Amazon for shoes!!!!!).  I'm 5'4" and the length is 31".  This was my second Dennis Basso purchase, and I'm verrry happy with the quality and style.

That's all!  Just wanted to say they are a hit!  If you're in need of a fancy-ish slack that can be dressed up, try these!

I don't know why, but they make me look thinner. Go figure. I never would have imagined it, but MBR talked me into a D&C pair that she raved about and that didn't look all that good on her.Smiley LOL On her rec, I went ahead, and WOW. they just worked better than most. I love the trraditional straight leg which makes me look matronly in the middle so needs to be covered up. Then it looks great. Any kind of flare is more flattering but they can look out of date sometimes. I bought another wide leg from D&C soon after and same great look. I will never understand why, as it seems counterintuitive.

I live in Zella slim leggings. But I have added a slight flare pant, and wide leg pants. The wider leg pant is slimmer at top and mor fitted around hips then goes down. Ibecause of mobility issues, I can't take the Zella slim legs off as easy anymore, even though they are stretch. Also, I need pockets in my pants to carry stuff to room to room. I have to use walker. The pants can't be real wide, or they look boxy, so it's hard to find just the right one. I love BoHo styles, as I am still a hippie at heart. Something's never have changed.  I think all styles of pants are fine for anyone. No one style. They are showing slim, to wide, to flare, to bell bottom from ankle length to mid calf. Take your pick. Something for every body tyoe
