I like a subtle cropped wide leg, but full length on me don't look good at all, and the wider the hem, the worse it is on me. I'm a straight leg and skinny woman. I've heard so many comments saying plus size ladies with heavier legs shouldn't wear them, but I find those styles a lot more flattering on larger bodies, especially if they're not super tight.

I think they look great, on other people.

From what I've seen, they're always styled with a blouse/top that is tucked in at the waist, for balance. The outfit needs to be fitted somewhere, and that ends up being in the waist.

Since I have a larger waist (and narrow hips), I never tuck in anything. And so, I never wear wide leg pants or jeans.

I hope that makes sense lol.

@peachesncream

They style them that way - but that's not the way we (I) wear them in real life.

I wear narrow long tops / tunics - and sometimes a long vest or cardigan.

I don't tuck in.  If I have a waist, I'm not sure where it's at.  But I don't wear an oversized or flowy top with wide pants.  It's usually something shorter and more fitted.

I can't stand wide leg pants, on anyone. I'm watching KG as we speak and the first thing I see are wide leg pants!

I love the wide leg jean.  I have been wearing Old Navy for years.  When they wore out I bought  the ones from D&C in easy stretch. I am 5'5"  with no hips and long legs.  They work for me.

Just realized that the "wide legged pants" are what were once called pallazzo pants.

Not all wide leg pants are pallazzo pants. I have never worn pallazzo pants, but love wide leg pants, they balance my figure.

Wow, I've seen Talithia (petite model) with the wide legs and it's not good. Look like a wide box on a petite. I'm 5'2", 100 lbs., I won't buy even one pair.

The tall thin models are the only ones I think look nice in them. Not interested in something makes me look shorter and wider.
