So I'm working on my figure, lost some weight with WW, down a size (should be down really 2 sizes by now but I'm not) and here comes wide legged pants.

No thank you, I don't want to add any fabric or width to my legs. There's a reason I wanted to take some weight off.

Trending???

I do not think they are ever really IN or OUT. It depends if they look good on you or not. Just like skinny jeans. They may be trending as you call it, but not everyone can wear them.

I've seen people look good in them. Me? No way!

I love palazzo pants.

I'm ready to wear wide leg pants more often. I'm getting bored with the skinny leg look. Wide leg natural fiber pants are cooler than skinnies in the summer & I'm looking forward to pulling out my wide leg pants for fall & winter. The only pants I'll wear only in skinny legs are capris (just below the knee) because I prefer that look. I'm lucky to be tall so I can wear any pant style.

I was in a resort area last week and saw women of different sizes wearing wide leg pants. Very chic. These ladies were size M or L. Good posture and long legs seem to help.

Well said. Also, the cut greatly affects the fit.

I don't know about trending ... I've been buying them for quite a few years - both QVC and elsewhere.

I like the way they look - and even converted my sister in 2009 when she saw me wearing them.

Love them, think Katherine Hepburn, so classic. In the summer with wedge sandals, and fitted tops to the waist.

I'll always have some in my wardrobe, plus straight leg, slim fit, but never, oh never, never leggings.

It is certainly not trending in the European cities I was in last month. Neither are maxis. 90% of what I saw on the streets were skinny jeans/leggings. Personally, I prefer something loose around my legs especially in summer and have yet to buy any skinny jeans.
