@Andreatoo, I would have never guessed you are 5'2".  I have thin legs and like the fact that the palazzos tend to hide that aspect! You definitely look great in the wide leg pants!

Re: Wide Leg Pants?

@pietook I really don’t think age has any influence on these trousers. I find them to be classic. I’m probably older than you and I just love how I “feel” when I wear them. Makes me feel very dressed up yet very comfortable.

i say go for it...

@Andreatoo: Girl, if I l looked like you in those trousers I’d wear them every day,  As the saying goes ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’.  Good job.

@Andreatoo : Those look beautiful on you and I know you're a shorty. Is the fabric stiff? I need a soft somewhat flowy fabric to keep like looking like Gumby but these sure don't make you look like that

@Sadiesadie

I wouldn't call them stiff but they do have some structure. They're also lined

@pietook

I'm also a senior ... 5'5" ... shaped like a T .... no curves.

I've always been a fan of wide leg pants.  I made my first pair in the 1960s - they were black with a strip of sequins down the side seams.  Before I was married so - pre-1963.  And have worn them on/off for the past 50+ years!

A few years ago when they became widely available, I stocked up.  I have about a dozen pairs .... mostly from JCP and Chico's.  Also got a few pairs from Bob Mackie.  I tried Susan Graver's ..... but the fabric is too flimsy.

One of my favorite "dressy" outfits is a black crepe pants suit with wide leg pants.  I bought it in 2003 .... still wearing it.

For tops .... depends.  I have one print pair from Chico's that I wear a chambray shirt over a white tank.  For the BM .... orange t-shirt and crochet lace vest I made to go with the pants.  JCP ... mostly casual cotton/linen .... t-shirts and long vests.  Also BM .... LOGO top and chiffon vest.  (I like to layer!)  Other Chico's pants .... I bought the coordinating tops ... and accessorize with (again) crochet lace vest.  Vests are quick for me to make.

I love wide leg pants. I think they look better with a bit of a heel.

I have a lot of summer wide leg pants INC from Macy’s. I’m 5’2” and wear a size 4. I don’t feel because of my height the wide leg pants make me look heavy.
