Of course! Almost without exception every host will make reference to something that they want viewers to view on their FB page. Recently someone posted a ""Help Wanted"" listing for Q host and it said something like ""must be comfortable with aggressive social media exposure"" It's a HOOK. They want to reel you into a Q addiction.

Nancy almost seems to BEG people to go to her FB page & tell her why they like something. I bet they have some sort of "internal contest" going. QVC seems to do anything to boost sales/marketing, & FB is just another marketing tool.

That's exactly what it is. Just part of the whole "the hosts are your friends" mentality. It's been a tool used in Sales since the beginning of time, long before social media. Social media, however, makes all of that a lot easier.

I like Mary Beth and I certainly wish the new couple well, but honestly I couldn't care less what she wears to her son's wedding. I don't mean that to sound unkind, but I doubt she cares about what I'm wearing to my son's wedding either! (And IMO that's exactly as it should be.)

I too think it's a little crazy to be asking perfect strangers what dress she will be wearing to her Sons wedding..but with that said..I looked at the 4 choices and the Black one was the only one I thought looked nice on her. The other 3 were kinda of Frumpy looking..I really thought that she would have chosen a Gown..a long dress..I think that it would look so much more chic..just my opinion

MBR was with Angel when she said that. Angel said she wouldn't share her wedding dress in advance with viewers. MBR said viewers might be able to select an accessory, like flowers. Angel said it's more likely viewers will be shown four items and asked to vote on which one Angel ultimately selected. Sounds reasonable.

In my opinion this is just another gimmick to get customers to think the hosts actually care about what they think so you will buy more product from them. It's all about the sales.
