I think it is, probably, true that the company has the hosts put their personal lives on Facebook even to the point of showing their homes. Not a good idea. There is no mystery in life anymore and we all don't need to know a play by play of people's lives.

I am not familiar with a "grooms dinner". I have hears about Bachelor and Bachelorette parties, Bridesmaids luncheons and Rehersal dinners but never a Grooms dinner. What is the purpose of this?

Many viewers and posters on this thread, feel free to criticize the host's clothing, speech, behavior etc, freely....so MBR has the freedom to seek a response; she will be criticized for her choice anyway. Many viewers feel they have a personal relationship with certain hosts; I don't know how healthy that is? But, it is what it is....people are fascinated by a departed post's Facebook it seems...so some want to be involved and some don't. I don't do social media but every industry utilizes Twitter and Facebook to advertise. MBR is a viewer favorite and there is no harm in her poll and it is an innocuous question. You can ignore the question which obviously her critics did not, opt in or out. There are many celebratory meals that take place before a wedding; it is regional and sometimes a religious preference. This is the USA folks and individuals can share as many meals as they wish....is it hurting someone? Is MBR hurting you are your family? Good grief ...there are big things going on in the world....just don't answer the question

I'm with OP on this. There's just too much about their personal affairs and I think it's silly - like it matters what viewers think lol. I know it's just QVC facebook nonsense. This is her son's wedding. I'm sure she already knows what she's wearing since the wedding is this month. I just wish QVC would stop with all the host's personal business to drum up attention and sales for their dismal merchandise. If they had better products and more variety, then maybe they wouldn't have to focus so much on the hosts personal lives.
