Re: Whos been to a QVC store?

My sister, daughter and I go to the Outlet store/s (mostly the Fraser, PA) but have visited the Lancaster on occasion as well. We usually watch the flyer sales and, based upon that, go once a month or every other month. We went on July 5th and returned with a ton of stuff at fabulous discounted prices. (Planning another trip on July 26th because they have the biggest sale of the year the entire month of July.) With a receipt, they will give you back your money if returned within 30 days, otherwise it's a store credit. You can return items with a receipt up to one year, BUT you will only receive a store credit, if it's over 30 days since the original purchase. That works for me, since we go often enough. Since they remodeled the store a few years ago, I find it's very orderly and neat. They're constantly replenishing the items, so it's a "hit or miss" situation. One small dressing room and on a busy day, you can spend a lot of time waiting in line to use it.

After visiting the outlet store, we usually take a quick ride to the QVC Studio to visit the QVC Studio store. No items on sale there, but they always have that day's TSV displayed. You can purchase it at the TSV price. The Fraser Outlet store is only about a 10 minute drive to the QVC Studio. The Studio store is sort of "hands on" where they have a sampling of some of their items, from beauty items, jewelry, clothing, shoes, seasonal, cookware, etc. Nice to be able to pick it up and see what it's really like, unlike viewing it on the tv. If you like, when you're at the Studio Store, you can take the studio tour but it's not free. Quite a few times, you can run into the models, hosts or vendors. Bob Mackie is as much of a gentleman on tv as he is in person.

Whos ??? This is a first! Have never seen this word before {#emotions_dlg.scared}!!!

Yes, I have been to a QVC outlet store. I have not been to the West Chester Studio Store.

Luvmycats: I believe the OP accidentally left out the apostrophe.... who's is the contraction for who is or who has. We all make typos..we're all human.

Re: Whos been to a QVC store?

I started going to the Outlet's about 6 years ago. I have found fabulous buys at the Fraser (sp) & the Lancaster one. Last year I got a SG faux leather jacket for $10.50. I also got a SG reversible green/navy fleece coat 2 years ago for $12.50. I have been stopping at these outlets for probably 6 yearss when DH & I are returning to the Midwest from the East coast. 3 years ago I bought a really cute swimsuit for $15.00. Over the years I have bought many D & CO pants of all lengths for $5.00. I am wearing a red pair of pants today. they look like new yet. I usually find that the item is marked down 25% & then the signs will say all clothing between 50%-70% additionally off. I can't wait to go again in Sept. on our return trop to the East Coast. I have also gotten great deals on shoes, pot & pans & kitchen items too.

I LOVE the QVC Outlet store -- go every weekend -- about 15 minutes away. Last weekend, I purchased about $140 worth of clothes for under $30. All apparel was 75% off (and so were the handbags.....except Dooney, but they are like 40% or 50% off all the time). Only one dressing room, but that's all I need..LOL. Great deals on Christmas items and kitchen items -- all items are new, and they still have the 30-day return policy. I wish the store was larger, but it has everything I'm looking for. I still order online, but last weekend, I walked in and found the exact same shirts that were SOLD OUT in my size online, and saved a small fortune. And these were NOT clearance items. Some of the items at the Outlet store are clearance items, but many are exactly what they're showing on QVC now. I just enjoy walking around the store.

Sounds wonderful! Which outlet were you at?

I'm in Myrtle Beach - Tanger Outlet.

How much further south is that from Barefoot Landing? Thanks.

Hi! I'd say it's about 20 minutes. We have 2 Tanger Outlets here....one is very close to Barefoot Landing, and the other one is further south, on Highway 501 -- that's the one with the QVC Outlet. Come visit anytime!

Re: Whos been to a QVC store?

I go to the one at Myrtle and the one in Mebane. During July they have a Customer Appreciation sale (75% off) and I buy lots of items for the year. I've heard a nasty rumor that they are closing some if not all of the stores. I seriously hope not, I LOVE the QVC Outlet and almost always find deals there.

I hope that rumor is not true because the Outlets are the only place you can get a good sale price at QVC.

Re: Whos been to a QVC store?

I was surprised how small the studio store was.

I was surprised how messy the 3 different outlets I've been to were.
