It really is!  Even zooming in on it, I had a hard time seeing it.

I zoomed in and still don't see it.

I can see that it could be there, though, given how the neckline is flush on the body.

I don't see how mesh can be invisible.

@I am still oxox I am also 63...and if I had the body to wear dress #2 I'd sure go for it!

For the people who think black is for funerals and not weddings...I live in South Carolina and there are always a number of people in black or mostly black at late afternoon/evening weddings here--no matter the time of year. To me, it's more the style of the dress than the color that makes it wedding-appropriate.

On the other hand--I see fewer and fewer people wear black to funerals anymore. Maybe close family members, but not always even then. I wore a deep purple knit suit to my own mother's funeral almost 10 years ago! Felt no need to wear black.

I noticed the mesh immediately looking at the photo, without zooming it in.

BirkiLady, I was being sarcastic. My mother never wore a housecoat in her life. For that matter, neither did my grandmother.  My point was, wear what makes you feel good. I am my own worst critic. I think a lot of women are. If that little voice inside your head says, " maybe this is too much," it probably is. Otherwise, go for it. The rule is, there are no rules. The old adage is, if you wore it the first time, you're too old to wear it the second time. I say bullcrap. So many of the styles today look like updated versions of what we wore in the 70's. Peasant tops, straight leg pants and jeans, palazzo pants. Would I wear a mini skirt, no, but some of the other styles, yes. Most of my wardrobe is pretty classic with some trendy pieces thrown in the mix.

@I am still oxox:  I believe you asked "which dress" and people responded to that question.  You should have known that everyone would not like it, right?

The best dress is the one you put on and feel fantastic in!   It needs to feel comfortable so you aren't messing with it all night long.  If you feel good in it, you will be glowing, confident and beautiful!
