Keep in mind, though, that there really are just a small number of people who are responding to you today. Some of the "many" complainers may not even be on the board today, have moved on to other issues, or have already complained to QVC! I definitely understand how you feel attacked. Sad, but just laugh it off. You're not the only post who has probably written something that you know was a topic of conversation on this board, got frustrated and wrote something, and was shocked by the types of responses that you got.
Tk you "susan kay", very kind of you to say that. Yes, the others who attacked me don't understand or know just how many complaints I have read on Pat & Jayne. I WAS frustrated today since I wanted to see/hear details on things. Most of the time, I can overlook their non-sense, today was worse than I had seen/heard. Yes, I will laugh it off, cuz I really am not a bitter person, as some indicated. I am actually a happy than normal person. Sometimes I wish I could refrain from even posting HAHA!!!!!!!

I really like Jayne and I really like Pat. Just not together....so I just don't watch anymore. Waste of time to complain.

Sorry, don't agree. Love the shows that are full of laughter & camaraderie. I can't stand serious-minded boring shows. We're just window-shopping, this isn't a physics lecture. Relax & have fun with them, or maybe just watch the shows that are more to your liking. We can all turn the channels to something we prefer.

I am so tired of these so called "QVC Cheerleaders" thinking that the host will "gasp" lose their job over some constructive criticism on a forum....

Love Pat and Jayne. Actually, Jayne could sell me a cardboard box! My solution to those hosts who get on my very last last nerve is to 1. Hit the mute button if I am interested in seeing the products being sold. or 2. Just change the channel until that segment is over. I don't think complaining will do anything. If the host is getting good numbers on sales during their segment, that is what QVC looks at. So, exercise your power by not buying from that host when they are presenting, if you want change!

She asked others to also complain via the online chat to QVC. I think that was fine as well. If you don't support her plea a simple, "I don't feel the same" would suffice. QVC is after all a shopping channel, not entertainment, as someone already noted. It's reasonable for the audience to ask for more product information Or ask for more personal stories if they like. I sometimes find myself wishing they would "get on with it." I want to see the models wearing the items, hear about colors and sizing, etc. I don't mind some personal stories and fun but at times it IS too much. Often they claim they don't have time to show some products they planned to present. Either they never intended to show them or they talked too much. I'm sure there is a happy balance for all of us.
That is what I got from the OP's post as well. And I agree providing more product information or showing it on the model sooner than they do before it sells out would be welcomed.

Hi TX-Starlight,
Thanks so much for that tip! And pay no mind to the QVC "cheerleaders" who come out of the woodwork to "protect and defend the hosts".....
.
I agree with you, while I'm not saying that the hosts should be robotic, there are hosts and shows which definitely cross the line. After all, the last time I looked this was a SHOPPING CHANNEL and not designed purely as a means to keep hosts entertained.
Some spend so much time goofing around and acting silly, and skip the details about the products themselves.....and we are told to "check online for details about the merchandise" when this is information that the hosts SHOULD BE PROVIDING ON AIR. And QVC is supposed to be about CONVENIENCE, so why should I have to boot up a computer, or download an app (and waste my smart phone minutes)--I prefer to use automated ordering for my purchases. And Jayne is famous for the go online spiel for measurements and info...
I remember one show where there was a blouse I was interested in.....and I was waiting to see all the colors/designs ---instead Jacque Gonzales decided to put a crown on her head (it was a decor piece used for a previous show)....and she danced and pranced and then she said she had ran out of time for the presentation.....So QVC lost a sale and the whole thing was just RIDICULOUS....So its not just Jayne and Pat....and also includes vendors (Renee-Women With Control ) for one....
BTW I have no problem with Jayne or Pat's solo shows ....in these shows they seem to do their job....

^ This. It's okay for the hosts to have fun, laugh and chat. It would just be nice if they remembered to give all the details of the items.

Why do I get the feeling, that once off the phone with a person who called to belly-ache about a host, the cs people get together (say at lunch) and laugh at all the absurd calls that they got?
"Ha ha ha! Can you believe that lady? Wanting QVC to get rid of so-and-so? Yeah, like that's ever going to happen, just because they don't like that host! People are so stupid, I swear! Ha ha ha!"

I don't think anyone wants Pat and Jayne to go away. I think people just want them, and other hosts as well, to spend as much time talking about the item being presented as they do other stuff.
