The word "luminous" comes to mind... it would be nice to see some fabrics that would appear "luminous" (instead of unwieldy) on stage....

Thanks to @ECBG, I now have a new designer from which to choose -- Ralph & Russo.  I have a strong feeling this first dress may actually be in attendance at, if not the Oscars, then one of the other award shows:

Homegirl, Do you like Carolina Hererra too?  She really designs upscale lady designs as I did in college when working on my degree.  You can youtube their past runway shows as well.  I always do this several times a year!
